Adapt

Based on the immune system within the human body, Adapt is a platformer game that places a fun twist on how our cells defend the body from harm's way. Take note that some creative liberties were taken place here, and your cells aren't actually just cute circles that run around eating bacteria (although, one could argue that is exactly what they are).  To learn all about the immune system and how it works in far more detail and scientific accuracy, check out the TheImmuneSystemExplained.txt file that encompasses the research the game is based on or visit this website here. 

About the Creator

The creator, Shauna, is a 17-year-old high school student exploring two of her major passions: biology and game development. She was challenged in a course to do a creative project with a research paper to go alongside it. For five grueling months, this is what she came up with.
